I have worked at Dover City Schools since 1979, and for the first 16 years, I was the only school nurse in Dover. I am now the school nurse and elementary counselor for South School. I love the children and families of Dover Schools. I can say that I have had the privilege of having two generations of students in my care and possibly, very soon, three generations. My work is always changing as are student and family needs.

I live with my husband, Roy, mother (Doris), and our very adorable dog, Ellie. We have two children and five grandchildren, two of which attend Dover Schools. I worked in a hospital for ten years before coming to Dover Schools.

My mission at Dover is to make sure school is a safe and happy place for students and their families. I work hard to make sure families feel comfortable and confident that any medical care their child needs while in school will be done on time and with great care. Every child's individual needs are important to me.

It has been an honor to work for Dover City Schools and be a part of the lives of our students and families.
