DO.C.K Program

Dover Caring Kids Program

Overview: Dover Middle School is proud to continue our D.O.C.K. Program for the 2021-2022 school year. We want to remain true to the intent of the program: COMMUNITY SERVICE! We believe it is important for our young people to understand that giving back to the community is an important element of being a good citizen and that the best reward from citizenship is simply knowing you did something to “give back”.

However, we also believe that offering a small incentive is okay if it is a means to jump start our young people in terms of doing for others. So, students will use this form to document their hours towards the goal of 20 community service hours for the year. Twenty hours turned in to the office by the end of the day on March 24, 2022 will entitle the students to participate in our DO.C.K. (Dover Caring Kids) reward trip which will be a day trip to Slugger and Putters sometime in May.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of these activities. Additionally, it is perfectly acceptable for the parent to take part in the community service activities with their child.
