Dover Online Academy Information

We are proud to announce that we will be offering a K-12 full time online learning opportunity through the Dover Online Academy for the 2020-21 school year.  Enrollment for this the Second Semester is OPEN NOW and available HERE The DEADLINE TO ENROLL FOR SECOND SEMESTER IS DECEMBER 1, 2020. We do require a minimum of a one-semester commitment to the program to allow us to provide adequate staffing and resources for all of this year’s unique needs. 

Chromebook/Workbook Pick-Up Times for Students
Students enrolled in the Dover Online Academy can be issued a district Chromebook for use from home.  If you indicated the need for this on your survey, we have one set aside for you.  If your situation has changed and you did not plan to use a district device but now need one, please contact your child's teacher. For K-5 students, ALL students will need to pick up student workbooks that supplement the program.  There are no workbooks for DMS and DHS students.  

In the menu on the left, you will see drop down boxes for Edgenuity (Grades K-5) and Odysseyware (Grades 6-12).  Please click on those links for more detailed information including parent and student expectations, the role of the family on Online Learning, and student demo accounts for you to interact with the program.    

Students enrolled in the program will have the option of using a district-owned chromebook or their own computer. Iusing your own computer, please review the minimum system requirements for your personal device.  In summary, Edgenuity can be run on an IOS or Android devices as well as PC, MAC, Chromebook.  Odysseyware does not support IOS or Android --  only PC, MAC, Chromebook.  Full details can be found at the links below:
