This fall, Dover High School students in Photography I and Theater Arts students
were collaborators in an Artist in Residency project focusing on Thornton
Wilder's Our Town. Students worked with Alan Jones, our artist in residence to
analyze the universal themes and messages within the play, and in defining our
own perceptions of our Dover community. Students captured imagery to be
used in the production of Our Town and edited other related imagery to
showcase the individual percipience of Dover. The culmination of their efforts
will be presented at the opening reception for the fall play on Thursday,
November 11th at 5:00 pm.
You are cordially invited to attend and peruse the artwork even if you do not stay
for the play. The art reception is free; however, tickets for the production are all
general admission for $5 each. They may be purchased at the door beginning an
hour before each performance. All seating is first come, first served.
