Dover Avenue is more than just a school; it's a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the academic and social growth of our 4th and 5th graders. We believe in fostering a well-rounded education that caters to each student's individual needs and ignites a lifelong love of learning.

Our dedicated teachers go beyond textbooks, integrating intervention and enrichment activities throughout the day. This ensures all students reach their full potential, whether they need focused support in reading and math, or crave the challenge of our Talented & Gifted (TAG) program with its advanced enrichment in reading and math. Learning extends beyond the classroom walls. Students can explore their passions and develop valuable skills through a variety of exciting programs. From leadership roles in Student Council to creative expression in Orff Ensemble, Band, and Orchestra to our Fitness Challenges in PE class, there's something for everyone! Our unique Crimson Companions program pairs positive peer models with students who need support with social skills, fostering positive relationships.

We're proud to partner with Rainbow Connection, Dover Public Library, and TUFF Bags to ensure our students and families have access to essential resources, including weekend meals. Our dedicated Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) enriches the school experience through fun events like Book Fair, Santa Shop, Spirit Shop and other special treats throughout the year. They also spread holiday cheer with Christmas Give and fundraise to support our students, staff and families!

We believe in making your child's final elementary school years truly memorable while building a strong foundation for middle school success! We achieve this by fostering a positive school environment through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), celebrating student success with reward parties each nine weeks. We hope you'll join us for some of our favorite events like Time with Teachers, Chalk Walk, Field Day, Fall Fest, the Student Fair, and our Fine Arts Festival.

At Dover Avenue Elementary, we offer a dynamic learning environment where your child can thrive academically, socially, and personally. We look forward to partnering with you to create a successful and enriching learning experience for your child!
